Happy Halloween everyone!
Today I decided on doing a blown out red smokey eye for Halloween. I enjoy doing red eye shadow looks but this is to an extreme!
Maybelline Fit Me Foundation – 102 Fair Ivory
Light Pink eyeshadow
Sugarpill Love+ eyeshadow
Tartiest Pro Palette – Mod
Wet N Wild Purple eyeshadow
Wet N Wild Panther Eyeshadow (Black)
Impulse Cosmetics lipstick – Apocalyptic
NYX Born to Glow Illuminator – Beam (On face and on center of eyelids)
I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween! What did you go as this Halloween? I’d love to know!
I’m a little late but here are my photos from Halloween. I had so much fun with a simple SFX look this year! I went to my grandma’s to give out candy for her. A few kids were scared of me and it made me feel bad. Hey, kids scare me too! Haha
This look was supposed to be a Post-Apocalyptic Warrior(ess) look but I don’t know if that’s clear or not. I took inspiration from Lisbeth Salander (Rooney Mara’s Lisbeth) with “bleached” brows. I only put a little bit of white foundation in the front of my brows.
Too Faced Born this Way Foundation (Snow)
NYX Blush in Taupe
Physician’s Formula Butter Bronzer in Light
E.L.F Instant Lift Brow Pencil – Taupe
NYX Pro Foundation Mixer – White (front of brows)
Rimmel Exaggerate Eyeliner in Blackest Black
Wet N Wild Eye shadow – Panther
Mascara (Can’t remember what I used)
Impulse Cosmetics – Apocalyptic
Cinema Secrets Liquid Latex
Pink and brown eye shadow
Thank you for reading! Would you like more SFX posts all year round? I hope you had a great Halloween! Stay spooky. ;)
I love SFX makeup but I haven’t been able to experiment with it lately. SFX is commonly used with liquid latex, grease/cream paints, and sometimes alcohol activated paints if you’re a pro (Along with a lot of other useful products/mediums)! I just went with simple scars because I want to just practice more than anything.
One of my favorite book characters is Lisbeth Salander from The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and I think I unintentionally made this look with her in mind. Of course, I’m not a bad ass. Haha I don’t have a Septum piercing but I used a hoop.
I’m back and with a little less scary/gory look for people who would like to go as something a lot more colorful and pretty. It’s fairly easy too! All you need is colorful eye shadows, a fine-tip paint brush/eyeshadow brush, blush brush and loose pigments (not necessary but it helps with the tears.)
I hope you liked this post! Should I include some pictures of the products I used next time? Thank you for reading! Happy early Halloween!
